Quality Manager - c.£55,000 Aerospace - West Midlands
Our client is a world leader in the design, development and production of bespoke products and materials for the aerospace market, specifically for the engine and associated systems. They supply directly into some of the world’s most prestigious military and civilian aircraft manufacturers. They have a dynamic and forward thinking approach to business and due to recent expansion require an addition to their management team within one of their biggest and most prominent manufacturing units.
Overview of role
To form an integral part of the management of the Quality Assurance Team. The position will carry the responsibility of all Customer Quality Assurance activities, throughout the manufacturing plant. This is the largest supplier site for all the plants within the group. There will be a major focus on multi-customer supply and consistency issues. Your team will ensure that all customers both internal and external without exception receive the highest standard of service.
Based in the Midlands, you will drive improvements across the UK customer base (internal and external) and look to implement and maintain key quality standards.
Requirements
Your background will be in a world class manufacturing environment, ideally within an aerospace or automotive supplier however applicants from other sectors are welcome.
Multi-customer experience or OEM key account responsibility
Man management experience in a manufacturing environment
Excellent verbal and written English language skills
Strong IT skills including MRP
A strong customer focus
Problem solving skills
